| Because of the olympiad meeting, I arrived home quite late and hat to wake up very early. I slept at 2:30am and put the alarm clock at 4:30am. The alarm didn't wake me up. I woke up at 5:20am when my mom came in and said "why haven't you dressed up yet? I woke you up 30 minutes ago." "What?" "I came in and woke you up and you mumbled something." Of course, I mumbled something without being awake and she thought I was awake. Fortunately, there was no line at the bridge and I made the plane in time, but I did get my scare.
On the first flight, I slept like a baby. On the second flight I did some sudoku on the airline magazine, it was much harder than I expected, it took me about 1 hour and thirty minutes for two puzzles. After that, I did some homework. Actually, I am quite excited about the Combinatorics homework, it is very beautiful stuff.
On the third flight I read "Letter to a Christian Nation". On the bus home, I read a third of "Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy". It has been very funny so far.
I am very happy of being back home and actually excited about doing some homework. Skimming around Stanley's "Enumerative Combinatorics" book is fun, that book is full of wonderful stuff. |
